Status bar

Timesheets are equipped with a status bar, providing a general overview of how a timesheet is doing. The status bar can be personalized to your liking by selecting up to five widgets, allowing you to view the information most relevant to you.

Depending on your Tracket settings, several widgets might not be available. Examples of the types of widgets you can include are:

  • Timesheet status: displays the status of the timesheet (visible only when approvals are enabled),

  • Worked hours: shows the total worked hours and can be compared against your set capacity. Learn more about capacity ➜,

  • Billable hours: when billable categories are configured, these widgets will provide more information about your billable hours and can be compared to both worked hours and capacity.

As a Tracket team admin or monday.com admin, you can also customize the status bar when viewing others people's timesheets. You may find that different widgets or data are more useful when reviewing other people's timesheets, compared to what you have chosen for your own. These settings are personal and will not affect the status bar of the users whose timesheets you are viewing.

Statuses

Open ⦿

Every new timesheet starts as an open timesheet. Open timesheets have not yet been submitted and can be changed. An open timesheet can be submitted to put it up for review.

Submitted ⦿

A submitted timesheet is ready for review. A timesheet should always be submitted to an admin; either a Tracket team admin or a monday.com admin.

After submitting a timesheet, it will lock and no more changes can be made to it for that period until is is unlocked again. This can be achieved by having your timesheet reopened or rejected. A submitted timesheet can also be approved.

You can restrict users from reopening their timesheet after it has been submitted. The monday.com admin can change this in the Tracket App settings. Learn more about restricting reopening submitted timesheets ➜

Approved ⦿

If your timesheet is filled in correctly, the approver can decide to approved it. Approving a timesheet will lock it and it can only be reopened by a monday.com admin or the approver of the timesheet.

Rejected ⦿

Rejected timesheets are open for changes again. The approver can leave a description explaining why the timesheet has been rejected. It can be submitted and reviewed again.

Notifications
