Tip

Before you can set up a widget, make sure to have a monday.com dashboard and a Tracket widget added to it.

Create or edit a chart

  1. In the upper right corner of the widget, click on the three dots.

  2. Click on Full Screen.

  3. If you are editing an existing chart, skip this step. Else, you can start from scratch and create a new bar or line chart, or select one of the prefilled charts. Click on any of these options.

  4. Change the (if necessary).

  5. Click Save chart to save the changes.

  6. Close the widget to see it in action!

Important

Do not use the monday.com widget settings. The Tracket widget has custom settings. Therefore, this tab will always be empty.

Chart configuration

Charts can be configured in many ways, allowing you to create all different kinds of charts. Play around with the available options to create one that suits your case.

Always save your changes before closing the widget!

Period

This determines the time period that gets covered in the chart. If you choose a predefined range such as Last month, the chart will always show the last month. If you select a custom period, the dates will remain fixed.

Filters

With the filters you determine which data should and should not be included in the chart.

  1. Click on Add filter +.

  2. Select what to filter on.

  3. Change the operator (is/is not) and toggle the values using the checkboxes.

  4. Repeat step 1-3 for every filter that you want to add.

Y axis

The y axis can be configured to show either time or billable time. Furthermore, you can decide on what the minimum and maximum hours should be, as well as the step size of the axis. This can be helpful if you want to compare multiple charts.

X axis

You can decide what to show on the x axis. Line charts will always have time on the x axis. If Time is selected, you can choose one of the following time periods:

  • Days

  • Weeks

  • Months

  • Quarters

The color of the chart can be changed using the color picker. This can only be done if the Group by field is empty. In that case, colors get automatically assigned.

Grouping the data will allow you to subdivide it. Line charts will show multiple lines. Bar charts will show multiple bars. You can choose to stack or cluster the bars.

Tip

When you group data, a legend will appear at the top of your chart. You can hide groups by clicking on its label.

Benchmark

The benchmark allows you to render a horizontal line, which can either be dashed or solid, at a given height. You can use this to, for example, set a goal. And you can change it's color!

Delete a chart

In order to delete a chart, you have to remove the widget from the monday.com dashboard.

  1. In the upper right corner of the widget, click on the three dots.

  2. Click on Delete.
