Install the app from the marketplace

  1. Log in to your monday.com instance.

  2. Navigate to the upper right corner and click on Apps.

  3. Search for Tracket by Avisi Apps.

  4. Click on Add to your account.

Available Tracket views

To start using Tracket, you must add a view where you want to use Tracket. There are several views available, each with different functionalities:

Desktop

  • board view - contains all timesheets, settings and approvals,

  • item view - allows you to directly add time entries on specific items and subitems,

  • dashboard widget - allows you to create a chart to display your data,

  • custom object - same as the board view, but adds Tracket directly to the list on the left side in your workspace.

Mobile

Tracket is available on the monday.com mobile app! You can access Tracket from the same board view, item view and dashboard widgets, but work slightly different compared to the desktop versions.

  • board view - contains your timesheets and allows you to log and submit your time,

  • item view - still a work in progress 🚧,

  • dashboard widget - view your existing charts.

Important

Add Tracket views

  1. Open any board in the same monday.com instance where you want to add Tracket to (preferably a board where you want to see timesheets).

  2. Click on the + at the end of the view tabs just below the name of the board.

  3. You can either:

    1. Hover over Apps and see if Tracket - Time Tracking is listed.

    2. Click on More views, Installed Apps, then look for Tracket - Time Tracking.

  4. Click on Tracket - Time Tracking or Open in board.

The steps below apply to both monday.com items and subitems.

  1. Open an item.

  2. Click on the + at the end of the view tabs just below the name of the item.

  3. Click on Installed Apps.

  4. Look for Tracket - Time Tracking.

  5. Either click on it, or click on Add to item.

Important

The item view must be added once per board to both an item and (if you want to use it on subitems as well) a subitem. Once the view has been added to an item, it will be available for every item on that board. The same goes for subitems.

Add a widget to a (new) blank view on a board

  1. If you already have a blank view, go to step 4. Otherwise, open any board in the same monday.com instance where you want to add Tracket to (preferably a board where you want to see dashboards).

  2. Click on the + at the end of the view tabs just below the name of the board.

  3. Click on Blank view.

  4. Just below the tabs, click on + Add widget.

  5. Either click on Apps, or More widgets.

  6. Click on Installed Apps.

  7. Look for Tracket - Widget.

  8. Either click on it, or click on Add widget.

Add a widget to a (new) stand-alone dashboard view

  1. If you already have a dashboard, go to step 4. Otherwise, in the menu on the left, click on +.

  2. Click on New dashboard.

  3. Fill in the required details and click on Create Dashboard.

  4. Click on Connect boards.

  5. Select the board(s) you want to connect.

  6. Click on Done.

  7. Click on + Add widget just below the name of the dashboard.

  8. Either click on Apps, or More widgets.

  9. Click on Installed Apps.

  10. Look for Tracket - Widget.

  11. Either click on it, or click on Add widget.

  1. In the menu on the left, click on +.

  2. Hover over Apps.

  3. Click on Explore app marketplace.

  4. Click on Installed Apps on the top right.

  5. Click on Tracket - Makes Time Work.

  6. Click on Use app.

  7. Select a workspace.

  8. Click on Add app.

If you gave restricted access to certain workspaces only, make sure you are in the correct workspace when adding Tracket.
