That's why we've listened to your feedback and rolled out a game-changing solution. Now, you have the power to choose any textual optional field from TOPdesk, making your integration smoother and more flexible than ever. Elevate your workflow and efficiency with this tailored solution.
By default TOPdesk Jira Integration uses TOPdesk's External Number field for all its syncing operations. Now you can configure this field to be any optional text field.
Simply go to Incident and Change settings and select a optional field for each. When you clear the field the Topdesk Jira Integration will fall back to the default External Number field.
All currently configured post functions will be affected.
I.e. an old post function that created an Incident when a Jira issue is created will now write the Jira Issue Key to the newly selected field
