Permission required
To review timesheets you need to be a monday.com admin or a Tracket team admin in a team the timesheet owner is a member of.
Any monday.com admin or Tracket team admin can review and approve timesheets for team members they have access to.
The Approver column in the Team > Approvals overview and the timesheet status bar both show who last took action on a timesheet, for example the admin who approved or rejected it. This gives both the timesheet owner and reviewers direct context on the review history.
Where to review timesheets
You can review timesheets from two places in Tracket:

Team > Approvals: the dedicated approvals overview. Filter by status, team, and period. Supports bulk actions and the Pending Approvals queue. Use this as your primary place for processing timesheets.

Team > Timesheets: the full team timesheet view. Useful when you're already reviewing logged hours and want to approve or reject without switching views.
The approve, reject, and reopen actions work the same way in both places.
Pin teams for quick access
If you manage multiple teams, you can pin frequently used teams to the top of the team list.

Navigate to Team > Approvals.

Hover over a team name in the team list.

Click the pin icon that appears.
Pinned teams always appear at the top of the list.
Review a timesheet
Open a timesheet by clicking View on the row in Team > Approvals, or navigate directly to the user's timesheet via Team > Timesheets. Review the logged hours against your own criteria, such as completeness, accuracy, or billable time. Use the status bar widgets to get a quick overview, and open Timesheet history to see previous actions on the timesheet.
Once you have reviewed the timesheet, choose one of the following actions:
Approve
The timesheet is correct and complete.

Click Approve.
Whether you can approve your own timesheet is controlled by a setting.

Reject
The timesheet needs changes. Rejecting unlocks it so the user can edit and resubmit it.

Click Reject.

Fill in a description explaining what needs to be corrected (optional but recommended).

Click Reject to confirm.
The rejection description is visible to the user in the status bar via the speech bubble icon.
Reopen
The timesheet needs to go back to open, regardless of its current status. Use this when a submitted or approved timesheet needs to be revised without going through a rejection.

Click the ⎠menu on the timesheet row.

Click Reopen timesheet.
Pending Approvals
The Pending Approvals tab offers a focused way to work through timesheets one by one in order of submission. Each timesheet opens in full so you can review it at your own pace. After you approve or reject it, the next submitted timesheet loads automatically. This makes it easy to process a backlog without losing your place.
Send a reminder
If a team member has forgotten to submit their timesheet, you can send them a reminder. Reminders can only be sent for open timesheets and cannot be sent to yourself. This notification cannot be turned off in-app. Email reminders are off by default. Learn more about notification preferences â
Send an individual reminder:

Go to Team > Approvals and open the Overview tab.

Find the user under the Open tab.

Click the ⎠menu and select Send reminder.
Bulk actions
You can approve, reject, reopen, or send reminders for multiple timesheets at once from Team > Approvals.

Go to Team > Approvals and open the Overview tab.

Select the relevant status tab (Open, Submitted, or Approved).

Check the boxes next to the timesheets you want to action.

Click the action you want (Submit, Approve, Reject, Reopen, or Send reminder) in the bulk action bar.
Customize the status bar for reviewing
When reviewing a timesheet, you can configure the status bar to show only the
information you need to make an approval decision. These settings are saved separately
from the status bar on your own timesheet, so your personal view stays unaffected.

Open a timesheet via View in the Team > Approvals overview.

Click the edit icon in the status bar.

Toggle the widgets you want to show or hide.

Your preferences are saved automatically.
Available widgets include logged time, billable hours, and their percentages.
View timesheet history
Every timesheet has a complete activity log showing all status changes. You can access
this both from the Team > Approvals overview and directly from within an open timesheet.
From the Approvals overview:

Click the ⎠menu on a timesheet row.

Select Timesheet history.
From within a timesheet:

Open a timesheet via the View button.

Click Timesheet history in the timesheet view.
The history shows the date, time, person, and action (submitted, approved, rejected,
reopened) for each status change.
