Permissions

By default, all users have access to Git for Confluence. You can limit access to certain user groups by configuring permissions.

Limiting access to Git for Confluence

You can limit access to certain groups on the Permissions page:

  • Log in as an administrator.

  • Navigate to Settings and choose Add-ons or Apps.

  • Find Git for Confluence in the menu on the left.

  • Go to the access rights management of a repository by clicking on the user icon of a repository.

  • This will take you to the access rights page, configure the groups that should have access

When left blank, all users have access to Git for Confluence. When one or more groups are added, only these groups have access to Git for Confluence.
