Confluence pages can have files attached to them. With Git for Confluence you can attach Git files and keep them in sync with the repository.

Git file attachments act the same as normal attachments. The only difference is that they are synchronized with the repository. Apps that use attachments can use Git file attachments.
You can attach a git file to your Confluence page with a page's overflow menu:
Visit your Confluence page in view mode.
Locate the ... menu at the top-right of the page.
Choose Add Git Attachment.
A dialog will open where you can select the Git file you want to attach to the page. The dialog has several fields:
Repository - Confluence Admins can configure one or more repositories, from which you can add Git files. Choose the repository from which you want to add a file.
Branch / Tag - You can select the branch or tag from which you want to select the file.
File path - Now add the full path to the file. You can click on the dropdown and navigate through folders to find the correct file.
