There are three recipes available to create/update an item from Bitbucket to monday.com

1. When an issue is created in this Bitbucket repository from this Bitbucket workspace, create an item and sync future changes from Bitbucket

2. When a commit of this Bitbucket repository from this Bitbucket workspace is pushed to this branch, create an item

3. When a commit of this Bitbucket repository from this Bitbucket workspace is pushed to this branch, create an update in this item

Pre configuration

Before you add recipes to your monday.com board, the board should be configured with column(s) of the information you would like to see from Bitbucket.

The Bitbucket integration only works with Bitbucket's internal issue tracker. We are aware of this and asked Atlassian for help. See this thread in the developer community.

Add this recipe to your monday.com board if you would like to have all issues from a specific Bitbucket workspace visible as items in monday.com. The items that are created in monday.com will get an update once the Bitbucket issue is updated.

How to add this recipe on your monday.com board?

1. Find the Bitbucket integration in the Integrations Center

2. Choose this recipe, press Add to board

3. This Bitbucket workspace: Select the Bitbucket workspace

4. This Bitbucket repository: Select the Bitbucket repository

5. Item: select the fields from Bitbucket you would like to have visible in the monday.com column.

6. Press Add to board

Using this recipe in combination with the recipe 1 from monday.com to bitbucket "When an item is created in monday.com, create an issue in this Bitbucket repository from this Bitbucket workspace" is not possible as it will result in a loop of creating issues and items.

2. "When a commit of this Bitbucket repository from this Bitbucket workspace is pushed to this branch, create an item"

Add this recipe to your monday.com board if you would like to have an update of all commits (changes) in Bitbucket to a specific branch. Once a commit (change) is made to a specific branch (for example: main branch), a new item will be created in Monday.

How to add this recipe on your monday.com board?

1. Find the Bitbucket integration in the Integrations Center

2. Choose this recipe, press Add to board

3. This Bitbucket workspace: Select the Bitbucket workspace

4. This Bitbucket repository: Select the Bitbucket repository

5. This branch: this is a select field. You can select the preferred branch from the dropdown list.

6. Item: select the fields from Bitbucket you would like to have visible in the monday.com column.

7. Press Add to board

3. "When a commit of this Bitbucket repository from this Bitbucket workspace is pushed to this branch, create an update in this item"

This recipe can be used to receive updates once a change (commit) is made in Bitbucket on a specific branch (for example: main branch).The difference between this recipe and the second recipe is that no new item is created, only updates are pushed to a selected monday.com item.

How to add this recipe on your monday.com board?

1. Find the Bitbucket integration in the Integrations Center

2. Choose this recipe, press Add to board

3. This Bitbucket workspace: Select the Bitbucket workspace

4. This Bitbucket repository: Select the Bitbucket repository

5. This branch: this is a select field. You can select the preferred branch from the dropdown list.

6. This Item: choose the item where you would like to receive all updates.

7. Press Add to board
