User Access Control
Define exactly who has access to Tracket
With User Access Control, Tracket admins can define exactly who has access to Tracket down to the individual user. This gives you the flexibility to align access with real usage needs, helping you stay secure, compliant, and cost-efficient.
By default, everyone in your monday.com account has access to Tracket. If this works for your team, no further action is needed.
Restricting access to specific users
Admins can choose to limit access to a specific group of users. This is useful when not all users in the monday.com account need to track time or use Tracket features.
To enable this:
Go to Settings → Access & Permissions → Access tab
Select Selected users have access.
Once selected, you’ll be able to review and configure who should have access before anything changes. Tracket access will only be limited to selected users after you save the new setting.
This means you can safely adjust access without disrupting anyone's usage until you're ready.
When access is limited to selected users, admins can view and manage access for all users in the monday.com account, including Members, Guests, Admins, and Viewers.
You can grant or revoke access using the toggle next to each user’s name. To make management easier, you can filter users by role or team, or search by name. Bulk selection is also available to update access for multiple users at once.
Viewers have no access
Viewers lack the API permissions required to use Tracket. We do show Viewers in the user list to allow for quick troubleshooting by an Admin.
Bulk Actions
To save time, you can select multiple users and update their access all at once. Just use the checkboxes to select users, then apply a bulk grant or revoke action at the top of the list.
Manual selection of users
Use the Access or Role filters to narrow down the list
You can also search directly for specific people.
Select users using the checkboxes next to their names, or everyone in view with the checkbox at the top of the table.
Select the Allow/Remove access button to update access for all selected users at once
Bulk allow/remove users in a team
Click on on of the Bulk allow/remove access buttons
Select one or multiple teams
Click Allow/Remove access.
Info
Outside of the Access Control settings, Tracket may still display all users from your monday.com account even if they don’t have access to Tracket. This is something we’re aware of and are considering improving in future updates.
